  2. Which action word is your favorite, and why? Can you show us how you do it?
  3. Can you come up with a new action word that we didn’t talk about? What is it, and can you show us how to do it?

  2. Action Word Scavenger Hunt: Go on a scavenger hunt around your home or classroom. Look for people or things doing the actions you learned, like someone walking, a pet eating, or a friend laughing. Draw or take pictures of what you find and share them with your class.

  3. Create an Action Word Story: Use the action words to create a short story. Draw pictures to go along with your story. For example, “Once upon a time, a dog was running in the park. It saw a cat and started jumping with joy. Then, it got tired and went to sleep under a tree.” Share your story with your classmates or family.
