Did you know there are more videos to watch? You can learn even more! Join the Smile and Learn educational channel to have fun while learning.

  1. Can you think of a time when you did one of these actions, like playing or reading? What did you do, and how did it make you feel?
  2. Which action word is your favorite, and why? Can you show us how you do it?
  3. Can you come up with a new action word that wasn’t in the video? What is it, and can you tell us when you might do it?
  1. Action Word Charades: Gather your friends or family and play a game of charades using the action words you learned. Take turns acting out words like “play,” “read,” or “fly” without speaking, and see if others can guess the action. This will help you remember the words and have fun at the same time!

  2. Action Word Hunt: Go on a scavenger hunt around your house or classroom. Look for people or things doing the actions you learned, like someone reading a book or a bird flying outside. Take a picture or draw what you find and share it with your friends. How many action words can you spot in real life?

  3. Story Time with Action Words: Create a short story using the action words. For example, “Once upon a time, Lisa was reading a book when she decided to play outside. She saw a bird flying and listened to the music of the wind.” Share your story with your class or family. How many action words can you include in your story?
