Amazing! Keep learning and exploring the city. There are so many interesting places to discover!

  • Have you ever visited any of these places in your city? Which one was your favorite and why?
  • If you could add a new place to your city, what would it be and what would you do there?
  • Imagine you are a mayor for a day. What changes would you make to make your city a better place for everyone?
  1. City Exploration Walk: Take a walk around your neighborhood with a family member or friend. Try to find as many places from the lesson as you can, like a fire station, post office, or gym. Make a list of the places you see and draw a picture of your favorite one. Discuss why each place is important in your community.

  2. Build Your Own City: Use building blocks, cardboard boxes, or any materials you have at home to create a mini city. Include some of the places you learned about, like a movie theater or a bus stop. Once your city is built, give a tour to your family, explaining what each place is and what happens there.

  3. Role-Playing Game: With friends or family, pretend to be different workers in the city. You can be a firefighter, a mail carrier, or a travel agent. Act out a day in their life and talk about what they do to help people. Think about how each job is important and how they all work together to make the city a better place.
