This is number one. Look, there’s one yummy cookie! Can you count it? One!

Number 2

Here is number two. We have two happy kids: one and two. Let’s count them together!

Number 3

Now, we see number three. There are three cool robots: one, two, and three. Count them with me!

Number 4

  3. Imagine you are planning a party and can invite up to 10 friends. How would you count them to make sure everyone is there? What fun activities would you plan for them?
  1. Number Hunt: Go on a number hunt around your home or classroom! Find objects that match each number from 1 to 10. For example, find one book, two pencils, three toys, and so on. Can you find something for each number? Share your findings with a friend or family member and count them together!

  2. Counting Nature Walk: Take a walk outside and see how many different things you can count. Look for one sun, two trees, three flowers, and so on. Try to find something for each number up to 10. Draw pictures of what you find and count them again when you get back home!

  3. Number Art: Create a number collage! Use magazines, newspapers, or draw pictures to represent each number from 1 to 10. For example, draw one sun, cut out two apples, or find three stickers. Arrange them in order and glue them onto a big piece of paper. Show your artwork to your class and count the items together!
