Hello, friends! Today, we’re going to have a fun time learning about some special letters. Are you ready? Let’s go!

The Letter D

Meet the letter D! Can you say “D”? Great! Now, let’s learn how to write it. For the big D, start at the top, draw a straight line down, then make a big curve like a belly. It looks like a heart! For the little d, start with a circle, then draw a line up and down. It looks like a musical note!

Let’s find some words with D. “Draw” starts with D. Do you like to draw? “Dice” also starts with D. Roll the dice and have fun! “Dentist” and “dinosaur” start with D too. Dinosaurs are so cool!

The Letter L

Now, let’s meet the letter L! Can you say “L”? Awesome! To write the big L, draw a line down and then turn right. It looks like a scooter! For the little l, make a loop up and down, then curve a bit. It looks like a saxophone!

What words start with L? “Light” starts with L. Remember to turn off the light! “Lion” and “lamp” start with L too. Lions are big cats, and lamps help us see in the dark!

The Letter N

Next up is the letter N! Can you say “N”? Nice! To write the big N, draw a line up, then down diagonally, and another line up. It looks like a bookshelf! For the little n, draw a line down, curve to the right, and finish with a little curve up. It looks like a turtle!

Let’s find some N words. “Nose” starts with N. We use our nose to smell! “Nine” and “ninja” start with N too. Ninjas are sneaky!

The Letter S

Say hello to the letter S! Can you say “S”? Super! To write the big S, make a big curve like a fish hook. For the little s, start with a line up, curve down, and add a little tail. It looks like an elf’s ear!

What words have S? “Sun” starts with S. The sun is bright and warm! “Sofa” and “snake” start with S too. Sofas are comfy to sit on!

The Letter T

Finally, let’s learn about the letter T! Can you say “T”? Terrific! To write the big T, draw a line down and then a line across the top. It looks like a hammer! For the little t, draw a line up, down, and add a little hat. It looks like a duck!

What words start with T? “Train” starts with T. Choo choo! “Tiger” and “telephone” start with T too. Tigers are big cats with stripes!
