Hi friends! Today, we’re going to learn all about the letter “K.” Are you ready? Let’s have some fun!

The letter “K” makes a special sound. Can you say it with me? It sounds like “kuh.” Great job!

Writing the Letter K

Capital K

Let’s learn how to write a big capital “K.” First, we draw a straight line down. Then, we draw a line from the middle going up to the right, and another line going down to the right. Yay! It looks like a cheerleader!

Lowercase k

Now, let’s try the small lowercase “k.” Start by drawing a line down. Then, go up a little and make a loop to the right. Finally, draw a line through the loop. Awesome! It looks like a rabbit!

Try writing the letter “K” at home with a pen and paper. It’s super easy!

Words with K

Let’s find some words that start with “K.” The first word is “kiwi.” Yum! Kiwis are delicious fruits.

Another word is “kung fu.” It’s a type of martial art. I’m the king of kung fu!
