Meet the Letter G

Good morning! I’m the letter G. I have a special sound. Can you say it with me? G makes a “guh” sound, like in “gorilla.” Great job!

Writing the Letter G

Let’s try writing the letter G together. First, we’ll do the big G, which is called the capital G. Start at the top, make a big curve down, and then draw a line to the left. Wow, it looks like a squirrel’s tail!

Now, let’s write the small G, which is the lowercase g. Draw a circle, then a line that goes down and up into a loop. It looks like a yo-yo! You can try this at home with some paper. It’s super fun!
