Ingredients You Will Need:

  • Hamburger patty
  • Tomato
  • Lettuce
  • Cheese
  • Onion
  • Ketchup

What is a Hamburger?

A hamburger is a tasty food from America. It is made with ground beef and usually has cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, and onion. The beef gives us protein, the cheese gives us some fat, and the veggies are full of vitamins. Yum!

Let’s Make a Hamburger!

It’s important to use fresh ingredients when making a hamburger at home. If you want to try making one, be sure to ask an adult to help you. Cooking together is fun and safe!

Steps to Make Your Hamburger:
  1. Slice the tomato into round pieces.
  2. Slice the onion into rings.
  3. Chop up the lettuce into small pieces.
  4. Open the hamburger buns.
  5. Put a pan on the stove and add a little oil.
  6. Cook the hamburger patty in the pan for about 10 minutes until it’s done.
