Ana and Her Family – Educational Story about Family Values

Meet the Sons Family

Welcome to the story of the Sons family! John is the dad, Alicia is the mom, and they have two kids named Anna and David. They also have a friendly dog named Tom. Louis and Rachel are the grandparents, and they love spending time with their family.

Family Vacation Adventure

Anna is super excited because the whole family is going on a vacation together! The grandparents have planned a fun trip, and they are going to show everyone a beautiful path. Anna’s grandparents are very active and love hiking. Did you know that Grandpa Louis used to work with a mountain rescue team? That’s pretty cool!

Exploring Nature

Finally, it’s time to start the adventure! Tom, the dog, is thrilled to run and play with everyone. Grandpa Louis is taking the family to a lake where they can see frogs and other animals. He always reminds them how important it is to take care of nature. “Let’s go, family!” he says.

Where’s David?

As they walk, Anna suddenly realizes that her brother David is missing. Everyone starts to worry. “Where could he be?” they wonder. But don’t worry! Tom the dog is on the case. He sniffs around and quickly finds David’s trail.

David’s Adventure

They find David by the river, safe and sound. He was just busy watching frogs! “Mom, I’m okay!” David says. After visiting the lake, the family heads back home, where Uncle Peter and his son Martin are waiting. They all have a great time telling stories together.

The Story of the Wolf

Uncle Peter shares a story about a time they saw a wolf. It was a bit scary, but also exciting! Everyone laughs and enjoys the tale. Having a family that listens and cares is truly special. Anna feels lucky to have such a wonderful family.

Family is Everything

Anna loves her family very much. They are always there for each other, and she wouldn’t trade them for anything in the world. Family is everything to her, and she knows she is everything to them too.

  • What is your favorite thing to do with your family, and why do you enjoy it so much?
  • Have you ever been on an adventure like Anna and her family? What did you see or do that was exciting?
  • Why do you think it’s important to take care of nature, just like Grandpa Louis reminds Anna and David? Can you think of ways you can help nature in your own neighborhood?
  1. Family Tree Craft: Create a family tree with your child using paper, crayons, and stickers. Start by drawing a big tree on a piece of paper. Then, help your child write the names of their family members on different branches. Encourage them to add drawings or stickers to represent each person, like a dog sticker for a pet or a hiking boot for an adventurous grandparent. This activity helps children understand family relationships and appreciate each family member’s unique qualities.

  2. Nature Exploration Walk: Take your child on a nature walk in a nearby park or garden. Encourage them to observe different plants, animals, and insects, just like Anna and her family did on their vacation. Ask them questions like, “What animals do you see?” or “How can we take care of nature?” This activity promotes curiosity about the environment and reinforces the importance of caring for nature.

  3. Storytelling Time: Encourage your child to create their own adventure story about a family trip. Ask them to think about where their family might go, what they would see, and who they would meet. They can draw pictures to go along with their story. This activity enhances creativity and helps children express their understanding of family values through storytelling.

[Music] We would like to introduce you to the Sons family. [Music] John is the dad and Alicia is the mom. Anna and David are the kids. I’m their dog, Tom. Louis and Rachel are the grandparents. [Music]

Mom, I’m very happy that we’re all going on vacation together! The grandparents will show us a very beautiful route. We will have a great time. Anna, your grandparents are in great shape; they go hiking every weekend. Did you know that your grandpa worked on the mountain rescue team?

We’re finally heading out! I’ll be able to run, play, and walk with the family. I love being with them. [Music] Grandpa Lewis is going to take us out to the lake to see the frogs and other animals. He always says we really have to take care of nature. Let’s go, family!

We’ve almost made it. By the way, Anna, where’s your brother? He was just here a second ago. Has anyone seen him? What are we going to do? Grandpa, David isn’t anywhere to be found. He’s got to be worried. I will tell Tom to help us find him. Let’s follow him; it seems he has discovered his trail.

David is beside the river. You had us really worried! We thought you had gotten lost. Mom, I’m okay! I was just looking at frogs. We saw the lake and then we went back home. Uncle Peter was there with his son, Martin. We had a great time telling stories. Uncle Peter told us the story about the wolf. I love that one! [Music]

One day, we were walking and we found ourselves face to face with a wolf. I don’t know who was more afraid, the wolf or us, but we all ran! Having a family that listens to you and takes care of you is wonderful. They are everything to me, and I am everything to them. I would not change this pack for anything in the world. [Music]
