???? Guess the Marine Animal ????

Which Sea Animal Is It? ????

Let’s play a fun game where we guess the sea animal! Are you ready? Look down there, do you see a tiny shadow? What could it be?

It’s a Crab! ????

Yes, it’s a crab! Crabs are amazing sea animals. They have hard shells and big claws. Crabs use their claws to pick up food and to protect themselves. Isn’t that cool?

Crabs can walk sideways, and they live in the ocean and on the beach. Next time you visit the beach, see if you can spot a crab scuttling around!

Now you know a little more about crabs. Keep exploring and learning about all the wonderful animals in the sea!

  • Have you ever seen a crab at the beach or in a picture? What did it look like, and what was it doing?
  • Why do you think crabs walk sideways instead of forward or backward? Can you try walking like a crab?
  • If you could be any sea animal for a day, which one would you choose and why? What fun things would you do in the ocean?
  1. Crab Walk Adventure: Let’s pretend to be crabs! Find a safe, open space and try walking sideways like a crab. Can you move as fast as a crab? Try picking up small objects with your hands like crab claws. How does it feel to move like a crab?

  2. Beach Exploration: Next time you visit the beach, take a closer look at the sand and rocks. Can you find any crabs or other sea creatures? Draw a picture of what you see and share it with your friends. What do you notice about where crabs like to hide?

  3. Crab Craft: Create your own crab using paper plates, paint, and pipe cleaners. Paint the paper plate to look like a crab’s shell, and use the pipe cleaners to make claws and legs. What colors will you choose for your crab? Display your crab at home and share what you learned about crabs with your family.

Here’s a sanitized version of the transcript:

“There’s another tiny silhouette down there. What could it be? It’s a crab! Crabs have claws.” [Music] “Crab.”
