Which Sea Animal Is It? ???? Episode 2

Look over there! Do you see a shadow in the water? What could it be? Let’s find out together!

It’s a Dolphin! ????

Wow, it’s a dolphin! Dolphins are amazing sea animals. They are very smart and can learn lots of things. Did you know that dolphins often look like they are smiling? That’s because they have a special shape to their mouths that makes them look happy!

Dolphins love to play and jump in the water. They can swim really fast and sometimes even do flips in the air. Dolphins live in groups called pods, and they like to talk to each other using special sounds. Isn’t that cool?

Next time you see a shadow in the water, you might just be looking at a friendly dolphin! Keep exploring and learning about all the wonderful animals in the ocean. ????

  • Have you ever seen a dolphin or another sea animal in real life or in a video? What did it look like, and what was it doing?
  • Why do you think dolphins like to live in groups called pods? How do you feel when you are with your friends or family?
  • If you could talk to a dolphin, what would you like to ask or tell it? Why do you think dolphins use special sounds to communicate?
  1. Make Your Own Dolphin Pod: Gather some friends or family members and pretend to be dolphins! Move around like dolphins in a group, or “pod,” and try to communicate using sounds like clicks and whistles. How does it feel to work together as a group? What sounds can you make to “talk” to each other?

  2. Dolphin Jump Challenge: Find a safe space where you can jump. Pretend you are a dolphin jumping out of the water. How high can you jump? Try doing a spin or flip in the air like a dolphin. Remember to land safely! Talk about how dolphins might use their jumps to play or communicate with each other.

  3. Spot the Dolphin: Next time you visit a beach, aquarium, or watch a nature documentary, try to spot a dolphin. Observe how they move and interact with each other. Can you see them jumping or hear them making sounds? Draw a picture of what you see and share it with your class or family.

Here’s a sanitized version of the transcript:

“There’s another silhouette over there. What could it be? It’s a dolphin! Dolphins are very intelligent. Dolphins smile and learn.”
